About

I grew up in South Africa where the Karoo is a large semi-desert in the southern region of the country. After various adventures in Germany over a few years, I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home for over 25 years.

Allowing clients to see beyond preliminary sketches or complex architectural blueprints of something that doesn’t yet exist — to visualize it in clear manner that they can understand — remains extremely rewarding to this day. In 2000 this passion led to being a founding partner of a small design visualization studio that served AEC clients for a decade. In 2010 our studio was acquired by a larger creative design firm, and I became part of their internal DesignViz team, working on a wide range of rewarding animal exhibit and interpretive projects for another decade.
