About

I grew up in South Africa where the Karoo is a large semi-desert in the southern region of the country. After a few years in Europe, I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home for over 25 years.

Allowing clients to see beyond preliminary sketches or complex architectural blueprints of something that doesn’t yet exist — to visualize it in clear manner that they can understand — remains extremely rewarding to this day. In 2000 this passion led to being a founding partner of a small design visualization studio that served AEC clients for a decade. In 2010 our studio was acquired by a larger creative design firm, and I became part of their internal DesignViz team, working on a wide range of rewarding animal exhibit and interpretive projects for another decade.
